Catching Up

Been a bit of a black hole in terms of blogging for the last month or so, but there has been a lot going on...

The dissertation is now done! This project looks at web sites and the reasons we use to justify our design design decisions. It does this with special emphasis on designing pages to express human emotion, with the purpose of enhancing the impact of your content and design. In the end I decided to call it "stop|think|design". You can read the official blog here, and view the stop|think|design site here.

I have also completed several other modules now, including "Digital Audio and Music Production", involving the creation of a short video with accompanying soundtrack. This piece took the title "Escape" and follows two people as they leave their unpleasant surroundings and journey to a nicer environment. There is also the database assignment that you can read about here, and view here. I can also report that I achieved an A grade for the implementation of the site, and a B overall for this assignment - well pleased since I knew ******* about databases before I started!

All that's left now is a few exams in May: 4th, 8th, 11th, 17th and 18th and then I am actually finished for good! Anyways, I gotta get back to studying..
